Description

Light and fluffy angel food cake bites made easily in your air fryer. Perfect for a quick, sweet treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 12 large egg whites
  • 1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Sift flour and 3/4 cup sugar together, set aside.
  3. Beat egg whites until frothy, then add cream of tartar and salt. Beat until soft peaks form.
  4. Gradually add remaining sugar, then vanilla and almond extracts. Beat until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold in flour mixture gently until fully incorporated.
  6. Spoon batter into greased mini muffin tins or silicone molds.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden and springy.
  8. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure egg whites are at room temperature for best volume.
  • Do not grease the pan if using traditional angel food cake pan.
  • Store in airtight container for up to 3 days.
