Instructions

  1. Reduce apple cider by simmering until it thickens to 1/4 cup.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, egg, buttermilk, vanilla, and reduced cider.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Scoop batter into greased donut molds or shape into rings.
  6. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes until golden.
