Description
A lighter version of the classic Bananas Foster dessert made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp rum (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the sliced bananas with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Place the banana mixture in an air fryer-safe dish.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until caramelized.
- If using rum, add it after cooking and stir gently.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or yogurt.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm bananas for best results.
- Adjust sugar to taste if bananas are very sweet.
- For a non-alcoholic version, skip the rum.
