- 1 pound lean beef (top round or flank steak)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Slice the beef into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- Add beef strips to the marinade, ensuring they’re fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°F (82°C).
- Place the marinated beef strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 3-4 hours, flipping halfway through, until the jerky is dry but still slightly flexible.
- Let cool before storing in an airtight container.
