Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh chestnuts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse and dry the chestnuts.
- Cut an X on the flat side of each chestnut to prevent bursting.
- Toss the chestnuts with olive oil and salt.
- Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
- Remove when the shells are crisp and the insides are tender.
- Peel and enjoy warm.
Notes
- Use a sharp knife to score the chestnuts carefully.
