Description

A quick and easy version of the classic comfort food, made in an air fryer for crispy chicken and fluffy dumplings.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup biscuit dough (pre-made or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Dip chicken in buttermilk, then coat with flour.
  4. Place chicken in air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Remove chicken and shred it into bite-sized pieces.
  6. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, broth, and vegetables.
  7. Drop biscuit dough by spoonfuls on top.
  8. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes until dumplings are golden.
