Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. Beat egg in another shallow dish.
  4. Dip chicken in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place chicken in air fryer basket and spray lightly with olive oil.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook another 5 minutes.
  7. Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cook 2 more minutes until cheese melts.
  9. Serve hot.
