- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Beat egg in another shallow dish.
- Dip chicken in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket and spray lightly with olive oil.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook another 5 minutes.
- Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Cook 2 more minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
