Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and sauce for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Toast the burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes if desired.
- Assemble the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray the breaded chicken with a little oil before air frying.
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken—it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Use gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs if needed.
