Description

A quick and flavorful air fryer chimichurri steak with a zesty herb sauce. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak or skirt steak
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the steak dry and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the steak in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway.
  4. While the steak cooks, mix olive oil, parsley, cilantro, garlic, red wine vinegar, red pepper flakes, and cumin in a bowl to make chimichurri.
  5. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
  6. Drizzle chimichurri sauce over the steak before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier sauce, add more red pepper flakes.
  • Letting the steak rest ensures juiciness.
  • Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
