Description
A quick and easy chocolate lava cake made in the air fryer, with a molten center and rich chocolate flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp chocolate chunks or chips
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Grease two ramekins and pour half the batter into each.
- Press chocolate chunks into the center of each ramekin.
- Cover with remaining batter.
- Place ramekins in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but center is soft.
- Let cool for 2 minutes, then invert onto a plate and serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overcook to keep the center molten.
- Use dark chocolate for a richer taste.
- Top with powdered sugar or ice cream if desired.
