Decadent chocolate lava cakes made in an air fryer for a quick and easy dessert.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt chocolate and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Whisk in sugar, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
- Fold in flour and salt until just combined.
- Divide batter evenly between two greased ramekins.
- Place ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute before inverting onto plates. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
- Do not overbake—centers should remain molten.
- Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
