Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tbsp sugar, salt, and oil. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour and vanilla until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
  4. Pipe 2-inch strips onto parchment paper, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Lightly spray churro bites with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon in a bowl.
  9. Toss warm churro bites in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  10. Serve immediately.

  • Work quickly when piping before dough cools.
