Description

Crispy and delicious churros made easily in an air fryer. Perfect for a quick dessert or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and butter. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
  3. Add vanilla extract and egg, mix until smooth.
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  5. Pipe dough into 4-inch strips onto a parchment-lined tray.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place churros in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  8. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  10. Roll cooked churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Serve warm.
