- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in cranberries.
- In another bowl, whisk cream, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Shape dough into a circle, cut into wedges.
- Place scones in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Don’t overmix the dough to keep scones tender.
- If dough is too sticky, chill it for 10 minutes before shaping.
- For extra sweetness, brush scones with cream and sprinkle sugar before baking.
