Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 lb fresh sushi-grade salmon or tuna
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the rice with water in a rice cooker or pot until tender.
  3. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt, then fold into the cooked rice.
  4. Shape the rice into small bite-sized patties.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Air fry the rice patties for 8-10 minutes until crispy.
  7. Top each crispy rice patty with a slice of fish and avocado.
  8. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
