Description
Easy and crispy air fryer rice cakes with a sushi twist. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked sushi rice
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 sheet nori, cut into small strips
- 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl.
- Stir the mixture into the cooked sushi rice.
- Shape rice into small patties.
- Brush both sides with soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Coat each patty with panko breadcrumbs.
- Place in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Top with nori strips and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Use day-old rice for better texture.
- Press rice firmly to prevent crumbling.
- Serve with extra soy sauce for dipping.
