Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked
  • 4 slices bread, toasted
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Dredge tomato slices in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with cornmeal mixture.
  3. Place coated tomato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  5. Assemble sandwiches by spreading mayo on toasted bread, then layering lettuce, bacon, and fried green tomatoes.
