- 2 medium green tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place flour in a shallow bowl. Place beaten egg in another bowl. Mix cornmeal, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and paprika in a third bowl.
- Dip each tomato slice in flour, then egg, then cornmeal mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
- Lightly spray both sides of coated tomato slices with cooking spray.
- Arrange tomato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

- For extra crispiness, spray tomatoes with oil before cooking.
