Description

Crispy and delicious mince pies made easily in an air fryer. Perfect for the holidays or any festive occasion.


Ingredients

  • 250g mincemeat
  • 320g ready-rolled shortcrust pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the pastry and cut into circles to fit your pie molds.
  3. Press the pastry circles into the molds and fill with mincemeat.
  4. Cut smaller pastry circles or shapes to cover the pies.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly, then dust with icing sugar before serving.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought or homemade mincemeat.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the mincemeat.
