- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup hot water
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, whisk flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix molasses, brown sugar, oil, and egg.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then stir in hot water.
- Pour batter into a greased 6-inch cake pan.
- Place pan in air fryer and cook for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Check doneness at 25 minutes to avoid overbaking.
- Use a toothpick to test the center.
