Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons green tea powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Cornstarch for dusting

Instructions

  1. Mix glutinous rice flour, green tea powder, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add water and vegetable oil, stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a microwave-safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
  4. Microwave for 2 minutes, stir, then microwave for another 1 minute until thickened.
  5. Dust a surface with cornstarch and roll the dough into small balls.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Place mochi balls in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  8. Air fry for 5-7 minutes until slightly crispy.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar to taste.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • If dough is too sticky, dust with more cornstarch.
