Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Pat wings dry with paper towels.
- Mix baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Toss wings in the mixture until evenly coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook 12 more minutes.
- Whisk hot sauce and melted butter in a bowl.
- Toss cooked wings in the sauce and serve.
Notes
- Baking powder ensures crispiness—do not substitute with baking soda.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- For extra crispiness, cook in batches if needed.
