Description
A quick and delicious air fryer Italian sandwich panini with crispy bread and melted cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Italian sub roll
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 slices salami
- 4 slices ham
- 4 slices pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Slice the Italian roll in half lengthwise.
- Layer the bottom half with provolone, salami, ham, pepperoni, and banana peppers.
- Top with the remaining provolone and close the sandwich.
- Spread butter on the outside of the roll and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (187°C).
- Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Remove, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use any combination of Italian meats you prefer.
- Add roasted red peppers or olives for extra flavor.
- Press the sandwich lightly with a spatula for a tighter panini.
