Description

A quick and delicious air fryer Italian sandwich panini with crispy bread and melted cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Italian sub roll
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 slices salami
  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Slice the Italian roll in half lengthwise.
  2. Layer the bottom half with provolone, salami, ham, pepperoni, and banana peppers.
  3. Top with the remaining provolone and close the sandwich.
  4. Spread butter on the outside of the roll and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (187°C).
  6. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use any combination of Italian meats you prefer.
  • Add roasted red peppers or olives for extra flavor.
  • Press the sandwich lightly with a spatula for a tighter panini.
