- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast and stuff with the jalapeño mixture.
- Secure the openings with toothpicks.
- Dip each stuffed chicken breast in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Place in the air fryer basket and cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove toothpicks before serving.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeño quantity for desired spiciness.
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
