Description

Crispy, golden doughnuts with a sweet jam filling, made easily in your air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup jam (strawberry, raspberry, or your choice)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
  4. Roll dough into small balls (about 1.5 inches).
  5. Flatten each ball slightly and place 1/2 tsp jam in the center.
  6. Seal edges and reshape into smooth balls.
  7. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Lightly grease the air fryer basket.
  9. Place doughnuts in the basket, leaving space between them.
  10. Air fry for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve.

Notes

  • Use thick jam to prevent leakage.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Check doughnuts halfway and flip if needed.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
