Description

A simple and healthy recipe for cooking mahi mahi in an air fryer. The fish comes out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.


Ingredients

  • 2 mahi mahi fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 lemon, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle the spice mix evenly over the fillets.
  6. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve with lemon slices if desired.

  • Adjust cooking time based on fillet thickness.
  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the fillets with oil before cooking.
  • Use fresh or thawed mahi mahi for best results.
