Description
Crispy, sweet, and slightly spicy candied nuts made in the air fryer with maple syrup and apples.
Ingredients

- 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 apple, finely diced
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix nuts, maple syrup, cinnamon, cayenne, and salt.
- Add diced apple and toss to coat evenly.
- Spread mixture in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- For extra crunch, cook an additional 1-2 minutes.
