Delicious masala chai cupcakes made in an air fryer. These cupcakes combine the warm spices of chai with a light, fluffy texture.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, oil, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- Pour batter into lined cupcake molds, filling halfway.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spices to taste.
- Check cupcakes early to avoid overbaking.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
