Description
Crispy, spicy, and slightly sweet molasses ginger snaps made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- Extra sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add molasses and egg, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in extra sugar.
- Place balls in air fryer basket, spaced apart. Air fry for 6-8 minutes until edges are firm.
- Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Dough can be refrigerated for up to 2 days before baking.
- For softer cookies, reduce cooking time by 1 minute.
