Description

Crispy, spicy Nashville hot chicken sliders made easy in the air fryer. Perfect for game day or a quick dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 8 slider buns
  • Pickles for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Coat chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  5. Cook chicken in batches for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Mix hot sauce, melted butter, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  7. Toss cooked chicken in the hot sauce mixture.
  8. Assemble sliders with chicken and pickles on buns.

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
  • Let chicken rest for 5 minutes after cooking for crispier texture.
  • Serve with extra hot sauce on the side.
