Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the onion into rings and separate them.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  4. In another bowl, whisk the egg.
  5. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  6. Coat each onion ring in the flour mixture, dip in the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Place the coated rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  9. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  10. Serve immediately.
