- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the onion into rings and separate them.
- In one bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg.
- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat each onion ring in the flour mixture, dip in the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately.

- Use sweet onions for a milder taste.
- Ensure rings are evenly coated for best texture.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
