Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan that fits in your air fryer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter for a tender cake.
- Check cake at 20 minutes to avoid overbaking.
- Substitute spices with 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice if preferred.
