Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Place the pie crust in a greased 7-inch pie pan.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Sprinkle bacon and cheese evenly over the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
- Place the pie pan in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 20-25 minutes until the center is set.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use a fork to prick the pie crust before baking to prevent puffing.
- Check for doneness by inserting a knife in the center—if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
- Let leftovers cool completely before storing in the fridge.
