Description

A quick and easy version of the classic French quiche made in an air fryer. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a greased 7-inch pie pan.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Sprinkle bacon and cheese evenly over the pie crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
  6. Place the pie pan in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 20-25 minutes until the center is set.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use a fork to prick the pie crust before baking to prevent puffing.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a knife in the center—if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
  • Let leftovers cool completely before storing in the fridge.
