Description

Crispy and juicy roast chicken made in an air fryer, seasoned with festive herbs for a flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (34 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp dried sage
  • 1 lemon (halved)
  • 4 garlic cloves (crushed)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub the chicken with olive oil.
  3. Mix salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, and sage in a bowl.
  4. Coat the chicken evenly with the herb mix.
  5. Stuff the cavity with lemon halves and garlic.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  7. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast-side down.
  8. Cook for 30 minutes.
  9. Flip the chicken and cook for another 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  10. Rest for 10 minutes before carving.
