Crispy and juicy roast chicken made in an air fryer, seasoned with festive herbs for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients

- 1 whole chicken (3–4 lbs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp dried rosemary
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried sage
- 1 lemon (halved)
- 4 garlic cloves (crushed)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub the chicken with olive oil.
- Mix salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, and sage in a bowl.
- Coat the chicken evenly with the herb mix.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon halves and garlic.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast-side down.
- Cook for 30 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest for 10 minutes before carving.
