Description

Crispy and juicy roast chicken made easily in an air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole chicken (34 lbs)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
  3. Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme in a bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the spice mix evenly over the chicken.
  5. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket breast-side down.
  6. Cook at 360°F for 30 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken and cook for another 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before carving.

  • Use a meat thermometer for accurate doneness.
  • Adjust cooking time based on chicken size.
  • For extra crispiness, increase temperature to 380°F for the last 5 minutes.
