- 1 medium butternut squash, peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 fresh sage leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sage leaves and cook until the butter turns golden brown and smells nutty. Remove from heat and discard the sage leaves.
- Toss the cubed butternut squash with the brown butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place the squash in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the squash is tender and crispy.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Cut the squash into even-sized pieces for uniform cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra crispiness, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
