Description

Crispy sesame chicken bites made easily in your air fryer. A healthier alternative to deep-fried versions with the same delicious flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Dip marinated chicken in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with sesame seeds and black pepper.
  5. Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Serve hot with extra sesame seeds sprinkled on top.

Notes

  • For crispier bites, spray lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • Leftovers stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days.
