Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and carrots, cook until softened.
- Stir in peas, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer mixture to an air fryer-safe dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Air fry for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

- Use leftover mashed potatoes for quicker prep.
- Substitute ground lamb for traditional shepherd’s pie flavor.
