Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheese (optional)
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and roll into balls.
  3. Place a ball of beef in the air fryer basket and press down firmly with a spatula to form a thin patty.
  4. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder on the patty.
  5. Cook for 4 minutes, flip, then cook for another 4 minutes. Add cheese if desired and cook for 30 seconds more.
  6. Toast buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes if preferred.
  7. Assemble burgers with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use leaner beef if you prefer less fat, but 80/20 works best for flavor.
  • Press the patties thin for a crispy edge.
