Description
Crispy and spooky mozzarella sticks made in an air fryer for a fun Halloween treat.
Ingredients

- 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Cut each mozzarella stick in half.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each mozzarella piece in flour, then beaten eggs, and finally the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated sticks on a plate and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Lightly brush sticks with olive oil.
- Air fry for 5-6 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Freezing prevents cheese from melting too quickly.
- Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
