Ingredients

  • 16 oz (450g) cremini mushrooms, cleaned
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Thread mushrooms onto skewers, leaving small gaps between them.
  3. In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, olive oil, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and honey.
  4. Brush the sauce mixture evenly over the mushroom skewers.
  5. Place skewers in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway and brushing with more sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Use any mushroom variety like shiitake or button.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
