Description
Crispy and flavorful teriyaki tofu bites made in the air fryer. A quick and healthy snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 1 block (14 oz) extra-firm tofu
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Press tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
- Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
- Toss tofu cubes in cornstarch until coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Toss cooked tofu in teriyaki sauce and return to air fryer for 2 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Use parchment paper in the air fryer for easier cleanup.
- For extra crispiness, spray tofu lightly with oil before air frying.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
