Description

Crispy teriyaki wings made easy in the air fryer. These wings are sticky, sweet, and savory with a perfect glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 green onion, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken wings with a paper towel.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  3. Cook the wings for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 12 minutes until crispy.
  4. In a saucepan, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
  6. Toss the cooked wings in the teriyaki sauce until fully coated.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the wings with oil before air frying.
  • Double the sauce if you prefer saucier wings.
  • Adjust honey for sweetness or add red pepper flakes for heat.
