Crispy air fryer tofu with sweet and savory teriyaki glaze. A quick, healthy, and delicious plant-based meal.
Ingredients

- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 green onion, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Lightly spray or brush air fryer basket with oil.
- Arrange tofu in single layer and air fry for 15 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Mix teriyaki sauce, maple syrup, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
- Toss cooked tofu with sauce mixture until coated.
- Return to air fryer for 3 more minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- Press tofu for 30 minutes for best texture
- Adjust sauce thickness with water if needed
- Serve over rice or noodles
