Description

Crispy air fryer tofu with sweet and savory teriyaki glaze. A quick, healthy, and delicious plant-based meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Lightly spray or brush air fryer basket with oil.
  4. Arrange tofu in single layer and air fry for 15 minutes, shaking halfway.
  5. Mix teriyaki sauce, maple syrup, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  6. Toss cooked tofu with sauce mixture until coated.
  7. Return to air fryer for 3 more minutes.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

  • Press tofu for 30 minutes for best texture
  • Adjust sauce thickness with water if needed
