Description

Crispy tofu nuggets made in an air fryer for a healthier snack or meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Toss tofu in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Dip tofu in soy sauce, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place tofu in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Air fry at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Press tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water.
  • Adjust spices to taste.
  • For extra crispiness, spray tofu lightly with oil before air frying.
