Crispy za’atar-spiced carrots cooked in an air fryer, served with a creamy yogurt dip. A quick and healthy side dish or snack.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium carrots, cut into sticks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp za’atar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss carrot sticks with olive oil, za’atar, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Arrange carrots in single layer in air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking basket halfway.
  5. While carrots cook, mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and parsley for the dip.
  6. Serve hot carrots with yogurt dip on the side.

Notes

  • For crispier carrots, extend cooking time by 2-3 minutes.
  • Substitute regular yogurt if Greek yogurt isn’t available.
  • Store leftovers in airtight container for up to 2 days.
