Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then almond extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, almond flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in sliced almonds.
- Spread dough evenly in the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra crunch, toast the sliced almonds before mixing.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate for added flavor.
