Juicy, smoky chipotle meatballs baked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chipotle peppers, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and milk.
  3. Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra smokiness, add 1/2 tsp smoked paprika.
  • Use lean ground beef for less grease.
  • Meatballs can be frozen before baking.
