Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large flatbread or pizza crust
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or gouda)
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  5. Layer apple slices on top of the onions.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese and thyme leaves over the apples.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese melts and edges are golden.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a sweet apple variety like Honeycrisp or Fuji for best flavor.
